One Of A Kind Gift Set

Here is a gift set that I worked on this past weekend, on and off ofcourse b/c of my limited time....LOL SO the gift set consists of a gift bag, a card and a metal tin that can hold a gift certificate.

I used one of my favourite SU stamp sets "One of a kind" for all three pieces and on the gift bag I also used the new SU stamp set "Heard from the heart". The DP is "Berry Bliss" and the pink CS is "Pretty in Pink". I used "Close to Cocoa" and "Pink Pirouette" ink and the ribbon is "Pretty In Pink". I also stamped the tissue paper, I'm not sure if you can see that well or not. I also used some misc copper brads for the centre of the larger flowers.

Friendship Card

This was a fun card to make. I used the "Time Well Spent" stamp set and you can't really see it but the centre of the flower is layered and pop doted to give it a little bit of a 3D effect. The CS is "Close To Cocoa" and "Pretty In Pink" and the DP is "Berry Bliss". I used my SU aqua painters to colour the image as well as my SU markers. The ribbon is also "Pretty In Pink" and I used my new Scallop Edge Punch. I knew the card was missing something so I made the charm with Shrinkydinks, those are so much fun and so easy to make. I just love custom charms!

Deer Friends Christmas Cards

Well we are back from our fabulous vacation and I am trying to get back on track and into the swing of things. For my SBS I have a friendship swap and a Christmas card challenge and since the weather was a bit chilly here (compared to Puerto Plata....bbrrrrr) I opted for the Christmas card first. I cased a similar card from SCS, I modified it a bit and here is what I came up with. I used SU kraft, chocolate chip and riding hood red CS. The stamps sets are "Deer Friends" and "Heard From the Heart". I stamped the sentiment with "chocolate chip" ink and the images are coloured with the SU markers. And the ribbon used is chocolate chip polytwill. Now I tried to keep this all SU but when I saw the reindeer he defnately needed a red nose so I thought Bella baubles would be perfect so I used the pomegranate Bella baubles for his nose. Okay next I need to work on my friendship swap card!
